We are located South of the River in Perth, Western Australia.
With a keen interest in all things performance, Sophie has been training and trialling dogs for the last 10 years starting with her American Staffordshire Terrier named “Unit” before moving into Australian Shepherds in 2017.

With a focus on Form, Function, Intelligence and Versatility, a Norsonix Australian Shepherd will be a wonderful companion and performance dog.

The aim at Norsonix is to produce balanced, moderate dogs with sound temperaments and exceptional biddability. I aim to produce versatile dogs who will hold their own it the show ring as well as thrive in various performance sports including Herding, Tracking, Scentwork, Agility, Tricks, Rally, Obedience, Dances With Dogs and more.

All health testing is completed prior to breeding including Hip & Elbow scores, DNA testing and Eye certificates annually.

Here at Norsonix, breeding will be infrequent and people with performance plans and active homes will be given preference.

Puppies will be raised in the home with enrichment following elements from the puppy culture programme.

All puppies will be evaluated against the breed standard for conformation and be temperament tested to best match them with potential homes. Before they leave they will be vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped and have eyes cleared. All puppies will be placed on limited register with DogsWest (NOT for showing or breeding)
